- an annual celebration for the ba'al worshippers
- the 1ST SUNDAY after the 1st full moon after the spring equinox
- rabbits and Ishtar eggs were used to commemorate her as a
goddess in Babylon's Mystery Religion
- to spite the killer-pig who killed Tammuz, (the son of BA'AL god),
Queen Ishtar instituted that a pig must be eaten by the people on
her day
- the ba'al worshippers who believed her every word and consented
also made fertility cakes to honor her, the fertility goddess
(today called hotcross buns by some)
- they also got drunk and had sex orgies; Queen Ishtar, the
fertility goddess, put prostitutes in her temple to be ravaged
by men celebrating the fertility and supernatural conception
of Tammuz

they consented to women being raped so they could participate
in the supernatural conceptions.)
Babies
- conceived on Ishtar's Day in her temple when her temple-
prostitutes were raped
- birthed around Dec 25 (another pagan holidate)
- sacrificed on the same altar they were conceived on in honor of
the pagan gods: Nimrod, Ishtar, Tammuz
- The BLOOD of these sacrificed babies was consumed by the
ba'al worshippers AFTER Ishtar's holiday eggs were dipped in
the blood of the sacrificed infants.
(Is there any doubt that "colored easter eggs" came from a
pagan tradition?) (These babies were violently conceived on
Ishtar's festival; a year later they were sacrificed on Ishtar's
festival...Is there any doubt as to why America can't
remove Roe v Wade, and why we the people are in bondage to
paying for abortions with our tax money?)
God's feasts and festivals
Passover = a feast ordained by God on the 14th day of the first month of the new year (God's calendar)(lev 23:5)
= a prophetic picture of the death, burial, and resurrection
of Christ our Messiah/King (ex 12:1-14)
= the fulfillment on earth of God's Genesis 3:15 promise

The One True Living God
- instituted the Passover Feast (Ex 12:1-14; Lev 23:5)
Jesus Christ, HaMashiach
- God's Passover Lamb, slain before the foundation of the world to
assure the covenant and promises of God would be fulfilled in time,
space, history; and satan would be perfectly disarmed and defeated in
his ploy to ascend to heaven and take God's throne
Holy Spirit
- helps God's people, who hunger for righteousness, to believe and obey
and enter into the fullness of the finished work of Jesus Christ and
to become like Him (1 John 4:17)
Children of Israel
- obeyed God's command to observe the 1st Passover that was
instituted in Egypt (Ex 12:1-14); they were protected from a
judgment of death because the blood of a slain lamb was a sign to
the angel of death to "PASSOVER" their dwellings
apostles and disciples of Jesus the Christ/Messiah
- most early christians were jews--they observed Passover as was set
up according to God's command and God's calendar, on the 14th day
of the 1st month of the new year
- more than 20 years after Jesus' crucifixion, Paul wrote the Corinthian
church because they were glorying in "manmade" holy days

Rome
- the bishops decreed they had authority and power to change the
time and laws of God so they "adjusted" the calendar to change the
Passover to coincide with the pagan Ishtar's Sunday (Dan7:25 warned
us that satan would have a pawn that would change the times and
laws of God.)
In writing history and changing time they could easily introduce
their false doctrines; they taught Jesus died on friday and was
raised on sunday--this "day-change" helped them justify adjusting
the calendar to better convince the followers of Jesus to concede
and accommodate their push to assimilate God's Passover Feast into
the pagan "holy day" festival Ishtar's Sunday/easter (we call it now)
By the 2nd century, christians had begun to compromise truth and
their lifestyles away from what God laid out for them when He
delivered them from slavery in Egypt.
Queen Ishtar's Mystery Religion began to be celebrated as the
church's "resurrection day" instead of celebrating God's
commanded Passover Feast.
- In 400 AD a roman bishop attacked CHRISTIANS who still kept the
LORD's Passover. (This is 400 years AFTER Jesus' resurrection. So
it is a lie that Jesus changed the law He came to fulfill. HE IS our
Passover, so why do we not observe His Passover feast?
- Even in the 1500s the catholic church and even some protestant
churches were still trying to stomp out the observance of God's
Passover among GENTILE christians by teaching that the Passover
had been done away with, and by calling the Lord's Passover a
heresy!
- During the time of Constantine, the historian Eusebius recorded:
"when the question relative to the festival of easter arose, it was
universally thought that it would be more convenient that all should
keep this "sacred" festival on one day: for what could be more
beautiful and desirable than to see this festival (Ishtar's Day)
through which we receive the hope of immortality celebrated by all
accord, in the same manner." [See how subtle the devil is in
counterfeiting the authentic way of returning to the
everlasting life Jesus purchased back for us?]
- The first major church council of Nicea, which met in 325 AD
determined "easter" should fall on the sunday following the 1st full
moon after the spring equinox. (This is why the easter DATE
MOVES to different dates each year; but ALL God's Feasts are
ALWAYS the SAME date--Passover is ALWAYS the 14th day of
the first month. God commanded that the lamb be sacrificed on the
14th day of the 1st month. [Sadly, man made a calendar that does
not align with God's calendar--"easter" can be as much as 3 weeks
away from God's holy Passover Feast. So HOW can this Feast of
God and Ishtar's Day be celebrating the same thing???]
Puritans in early America
- American history shows the God-fearing puritans saw easter as the
pagan festival it is
- the Mystery Religion--easter--was NOT celebrated until after the
civil war
As Americans compromised the biblical principles and values the nation was founded upon, the people strayed ever further from
celebrating the feasts God ordained for His people; and as is seen today, we have become more like Nimrod's kingdom where every kind of evil lifestyle is promoted and embraced in defiance of God's ways that offer us blessings at His expense--for the joy set before Him.
How much longer will God's people, who claim to worship and serve Jesus, continue to allow the evil Mystery Religion of Babylon to infiltrate our lives and our worship? Why do we carry on doing the same thing generation after generation without even knowing the TRUTH about what we do?
No where in the word of God, (the Word He exalted above His Name), does He sanction rituals and the symbolism of Ishtar's Day. With
the help of Holy Spirit, the Spirit of TRUTH, it doesn't take much research to find out that our word "easter" is anglo-saxon for the ancient name Ishtar--the pagan goddess of fertility and Queen of Babylon--and in historical literature is Ashtarte, and is Ashtoreth in the Scriptures.
And God spoke clearly through His prophets of old concerning the worship of Queen Ishtar, Queen of heaven, and her Ashtoreths and Asherah poles. Consider just these few passages:
1 Samuel 7:3-4; 12:10
1 Kings 11:5-10; 31-33
Jeremiah 7:17-19; 10:2-3; 44:19-29
Ezekiel 8:13-16
God gave clear instructions:
"You shall utterly destroy all the high places on the mountains, hills, and under every green tree where the nations you dispossess worship their gods. Destroy their altars, break down their sacred asherah poles, burn their wooden images and destroy their names from those places. You shall not worship the Lord your God in their way. (see Deut 12:1-4,8-9,28-32)
In Deuteronomy 1:4, the only True God makes it clear He does not accept worship done in the way unbelievers/pagans worship their gods. He calls us who believe to worship Him in the way He has revealed in His word; and He is looking for those who worship Him in Spirit and in Truth.
The father of lies, satan, is a master deceiver; he has filled the lives of christians today with idolatry and anti-christian activities of man-made celebrations and rituals, and most do not even realize the paganism they are consenting to.
"My people perish for a lack of knowledge... they have rejected knowledge...." Hosea 4:6
Didn't the Living God tell us to come out from among them and their man-made holy-days, and be separate? (2 Cor 6:17)
Shouldn't we, as true worshippers, take care to be separate from worldly influences and live as a "called out people?" All the while being a city set on a hill, the Light of the world as He shines through us without spots that block His radiance from beaming through us like diamond lightning?
If the images and symbols and rituals of Queen Ishtar were offensive to God during OT times, how can we believe celebrations with those same symbols are no longer offensive to Him?
Israel was considered to be in rebellion against their Creator when they worshipped Queen Ishtar on Ishtar SunDay.
Isn't it our own rebellion against Him when we worship her through Ishtar's Day?
Wouldn't it be wisdom to lay down worldly/pagan holidays and live God's way instead?
Doesn't He have the BEST He has in mind for us? And being God Omnipotent, wouldn't He know the best ways to party.
....Surely it isn't for nothing that people say "there ain't no party like a Holy Ghost party."

And if God has given us prescribed ways and His chosen symbols and days to honor Him and His ways and works, then is it honoring God to use pagan symbols to celebrate the One Who was crucified, buried, and raised to reconcile us to the Father and restore us to our First Estate of immortality?!
And how can we go on believing God is happy when we honor easter and the symbols by calling it "Resurrection Sunday?"
The majority of christians who love God and want to serve Him with their lives are caught up in pagan festivals-- most do not know the "son" whose "resurrection" is celebrated "easter" sunday is actually the sun-god Tammuz... and that dude is definitely NOT the Messiah, our Christ Jesus!
The TRUTH is: Tammuz was not in the belly of the earth 3 DAYS and 3 NIGHTS as was Jesus. So how can we be celebrating actually
Christ Jesus when a crucifixion on friday and burial friday right beofre sunset, and a resurrection on a sunday morning
actually celebrates tammuz resurrection? It's an impossibility to honor Jesus as the Passover Lamb in less than the
3 DAYS and 3 NIGHTS He said would identify Him....
THE TRUTH is: God said the lamb was to be slain on the 14th day of the first month--this is ALWAYS the 14th--it never changes from the 14th.
Jesus said the ONLY SIGN He would give to prove His identity would be the "SIGN OF JONAH." How can our observation of friday as
His crucifixion and sunday as His resurrection day be anything but a denial of Him as Messiah when HE SAID
3 DAYS and 3 NIGHTS
Did He LIE ?
Or are we, His people, just following a lie in His name??
Is God really happy that we, His people, follow a man's calendar, and that we worship Him using pagan days and dates and customs and call them
"holy?"
May His great grace and kindnesses saturate our hearts and bring us unto repentance again and again until we turn fully to Him, and like King Josiah, (2 Kings 23:13-14) tear down and destroy in our hearts and in our lives all those abominable places we have given over to ishtar/
ashoreth/easter ... and other pagan holidays and gods....
? So what IS the TRUTH about Jesus' crucifixion and resurrection, if it wasn't friday to sunday?
? Do days and dates REALLY matter?
Days and dates DO really matter to God--if God's dates didn't really matter, why do the scriptures repeat it?
God has never left anything to chance--He is precise and exact and sovereign, while only leaving us with free will to choose to serve Him in His way or not, therein leaving the depth of intimacy we can have with Him up to us, thus letting us determine how much of our destiny in Christ Jesus we will fulfill to His glory.
"It is the glory of God to hide a matter, but the glory of kings to seek and discover Him in the mystery." (Prov 25:2)
Jesus is the King of kings. To be His kings that reign and rule with Him to His glory, there is much to be searched out and explored with Holy Spirit's help so we let not one drop of His precious blood go to waste.
The precise timing of Jesus' death, burial, and resurrection are the undeniable proof that
Jesus alone is the only begotten Son of God,
Promised Redeemer,
Savior,
King of Glory!
Throughout His ministry on earth, the people questioned Jesus about His identity, and asked for sign after sign to prove Himself; but He said the ONLY sign given would be the sign of Jonah. (Jonah 1:7)
Jesus said, "For as Jonah was in the belly of the great fish 3 NIGHTS and 3 DAYS, so shall the Son of Man be 3 DAYS AND 3 NIGHTS in the heart of the earth.

So what did Jesus mean when He said He would be in the belly of the earth 3 DAYS AND 3 NIGHTS?
Counting Jesus' time in the belly of the earth:
In the 1st month of God's calendar, (nisan), of the year AD 31, on a wednesday, Jesus was crucified on the 14th day--the PASSOVER Lamb was to be slain on the 14th day. HE was taken off the cross and buried before sunset. AT sunset the beginning of the next day begins. This is NIGHT 1.
The 15th day, thursday, was a "HIGH Sabbath," as it was the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread. God's people are to REST and do no work on the Lord's appointed HIGH Sabbaths. So the women were unable to purchase and prepare the anointing spices for Jesus. DAY 1
NIGHT 2 This is thursday night. (Much can be speculated about what the women and disciples of Jesus did on this night, when the HIGH Sabbath had now ended. Did they stay up late still trying to figure out what happened? Did they go to bed early to rest up for the work day ahead...? or were they hiding out in the upper room?)
Friday morning, DAY 2, the 16th day of the month, the women went out to purchase and prepare the spices to anoint Jesus' body. (Mark 16:1)
But there was not enough time to get to the tomb and anoint Jesus before the sun set which would begin the WEEKLY Sabbath rest.
NIGHT 3 The WEEKLY Sabbath began at sunset.
Saturday, the 17th day of the month, was the Lords WEEKLY Sabbath rest, therefore the women were still unable to make it to the tomb to anoint Jesus' body. This was the "last day" Jesus would be in the belly of the earth. DAY 3
*** 3 NIGHTS and 3 DAYS is 72 hours: a friday to nearly sunday morning does not make a 72 hour period of time in the belly of the earth.***
(I wonder why Jesus would specify exactly 3 DAYS and exactly 3 NIGHTS if He didn't mean 3 DAYS and 3 NIGHTS?)
When the 3 DAYS and 3 NIGHTS were perfectly complete, Jesus was raised by the Spirit of holiness. Was He was raised right before the Sabbath daylight ended to fulfill His role as our Sabbath rest. The greek texts and the aramaic peshitta and the old syriac texts all record Jesus was raised on the WEEKLY Sabbath/saturday, and not the first day of the week, sunday.
Mary did not get to the tomb until that early sunday morning, but when she did get there she found that He had ALREADY been raised! And two holy angels to tell her so! (Yes, they talk to us! The wonders we would discover if we believed and listened!)
(It is Tammuz that died on a friday and supposedly raised on a sunday; and Ishtar's day is celebrated to honor the rising of ba'al's sun-god son Tammuz.)
Of interest: Only a resurrection after the 3rd day of being dead was considered true evidence that death was defeated--
the Jews and their Talmud doesn't consider someone literally and officially "dead" if they are revived before 3 days. Jesus followed the Father's exact blueprint and even honored their beliefs (based on the blueprint) so there could be no excuse for them to doubt HE was the promised Messiah, and that
HE DEFEATED DEATH!

There are multiple verses citing He would be/was raised after THREE days and nights, but here are a few to get started:

Acts 10:40 God raised Hm up on the 3rd day and showed Him openly.
1 Cor 15:4 He was buried and rose again the 3rd day according to scripture.
So at the end of the 3RD DAY Jesus arose and fulfilled completely ALL scriptures prophesying the establishment of His Kingdom and the overcoming of satan and the last enemy, death.
So death HAS BEEN DEFEATED! Therefore, we CAN live in His victory NOW as co-resurrected ones showcasing His resurrection LIFE! It is NOT biblical that we have to die to go to heaven and enjoy heavenly realities, because JESUS IS THE DOOR! And the DOOR is OEPN!
(And aren't we told in Rev 4 to COME UP HERE!?)

Now we need His perfect faith at work in us to the extent we believe and we put on fully HIS INCORRUPTION and HIS IMMORTALITY as our own--He purchased it back for us with His very own blood that never dries up but speaks LIFE! Okay, back to the matter at hand:
? Do we have to become a Jew to obey God and observe HIS Passover Feast?
AS the apostle Paul would say: BY NO MEANS! Judaism is not The Door! JESUS is The DOOR, and the only way through Him is RELATIONSHIP with
Him! I believe as we learn God's ways about His feasts, we will find they are a journey of intimacy with Him whereby we are brought more into His
likeness. So why wouldn't we want to search it out with Him and obey His will FOR us? His commands are FOR our full restoration and freedom into His fullness; they are not for us to be found lacking. (How does lack give our God glory?)(HE said He came to give us Life and Life ABUNDANT!)
Whether jew or gentile, we as believers have been born anew from above with divine DNA of our heavenly Father.
Through Jesus we have been delivered from sin and the power of its law of death. JESUS is the True Vine into which we are grafted--not judaism!
It is through Jesus Christ/Yah'shuah HaMashiach, and Him alone, that we have become a sap-sucking, fruit-bearing branch to His glory! It is through relationship with HIM that we are redeemed and have become a new creation that gives Him glory as signs and wonders that put on display the beauty of His righteousness and justice and holiness and goodness and wisdom as we walk in HIM Who is The Way, The Truth, The Life.
HE is the DOOR for ALL things LIFE! Because of His great gracious goodness, when we dare taste and see, we are drawn to know Him more, and in response, we can't but obey His heart toward us. The more Truth we discover and explore in our walk toward His faces, the more we will desire to enjoy the blessings of His ways with Him, including HIS feasts, and we will learn to celebrate them in LIGHT of the Finished Work of Jesus Christ.
Our Feast IS the Eternal Living Lamb--His flesh and His blood, the only true food that can give LIFE. By faith we engage HIS victory over death as OUR own because His blood cried out on our behalf--His Living Blood cries out to death, "PASSOVER!"
? Are we courageous enough to search out the Truth and discover Christ our Messiah and His likeness for ourselves through a personal
relationship with the Living God, even if requires us to renounce something we have been taught and have learned in the past?
Or, will we continue to cling to worthless idols and forfeit the grace that matures us unto His perfection? (Christlikeness = Godlikeness)
Isn't He worthy to be worshipped in HIS chosen way on HIS chosen dates?!
He has sent us a Helper that is faithful to guide us into ALL Truth, (John 1:13) as we seek first His Kingdom. He is greater to keep us than is the devil to deceive us. He is THE great Adventure in Whom we live and move and have our being! His Holy Spirit is willing and eager to assist seekers--those kings who search out hidden treasures He longs to share with friends.
Yes, TRUTH matters! Most unbelieving-believers want the comfort of their traditions more than a desire to know Truth and hunger for friendship with a holy and true God. ...He loves us each the same; but FAVOR rests upon His friends.
I want to be His friend in addition to being His love-slave. Therefore, I am on pilgrimage and am learning the blessings of leaving behind the training wheels He graced me with as I journey from grace to grace, truth to truth, faith to faith, strength to strength, victory to victory, glory to glory, majesty to majesty, (precept upon precept, line upon line).
The Eternal King, our Beloved, is due the honor of a people hating what He hates and loving what He loves, discerning between the holy and the profane, the pure and impure, right from wrong.... He loves Truth and is honored when we His people proclaim Truth, and even moreso when we obey Truth. So to honor Him, to show Him love, to proclaim the fame of His Name, I have taken the time to present these few facts about His ways. When so many of God's people would prefer to do what is right in their own eyes rather than seek out Truth and obey, I want to give voice to His heart of truth He has revealed to me and to point to truths I have thus far followed Him into rather than let the rocks cry out in my stead.
He is worthy, and His ways are honorable for His people to speak forth and to arise up into by shining the Light that overpowers darkness....
This is not a hell or heaven issue being offered. It is a TRUTH issue and a RELATIONSHIP issue with Him Who is The Truth and leads us into TRUTH and delivers us indeed into the fullness of Him-alive-in-us and overflowing us into all creation over which He has made us stewards to rule and reign with Him, as sons, co-heirs, who are to make known His manifold wisdom to all in heavenly places!
An aside: It just came to my attention that there are some religious folk out and about, bless their souls, who say if easter shouldn't be
celebrated, then what about mother's day? Isn't mother's day a man-made tradition that shouldn't be celebrated either?
My thought on that: be glad Jesus isn't here with a lightning whip to blast such nonsense out of those folk! Because I am pretty sure moms are not pagan deities that are being celebrated and worshipped as goddesses on mother's day. Mother's day, in my understanding, is a day set aside to HONOR those moms who helped us grow up into our God-authored destiny, encouraged us to grow up into being the best of who He created us to be.... I don't see such a day as mother's day as a festival to mock the feasts of the Living God and counterfeit His Kingdom....
HONOR is the atmosphere of HIS Kingdom! While there is no honor in the devil's family.... Jesus highly honored women; I don't see anything being counterfeited in honoring moms or dads, or in honoring the righteousness that a person's life conveyed or represents.... But if God has
given us a date and way to celebrate something....
Anyone can research these holy-day matters and find what they want to believe and obey. When I was first informed, I myself didn't know what to make of some people who were saying easter was a pagan holiday, because I had all my life up to that point observed easter as the holiday Jesus died in my place and was raised so I wouldn't go to hell. In fact I was appalled people would say such a thing about easter being pagan and having nothing to do with Jesus--how could they call themselves "christians?" But I knew then that Truth IS important to God--why else would Jesus Himself say HE is The Truth.... So I asked Holy Spirit to make me to know TRUTH about this matter... I searched for myself... and I followed Holy Spirit.... And I discovered those people who first appalled me with their statements about easter were actually right--EVEN THOUGH I found information to the contrary, because like I said, the lie is out there too (the devil counterfeits the authentic). But the Word of God doesn't lie and Holy Spirit who teaches us all things doesn't lead us astray or let us go into deception or stay in deception if we are sincere in our intent and desire to know Truth and honor Him and walk with Him in His highway of holiness. So by His grace I will continue to search for Truth... and to follow Holy Spirit.... from pilgrimage to pilgrimage.... laying things aside as I go, so I can receive and become more like Him. And I hope this page encourages you to search and ask and knock until you KNOW the Truth He has for YOU, step by step.... because Truth is dynamic and living and therefore is always open for us to go another step into Him Who IS Truth.... And in Him we are delivered from the bondage of the lies of misunderstanding, misinterpretation, misrepresentation.....step by step... It comes down to how much do we want to know and how far do we want to go....step by step with Him.
In hunger and/or desperation we cry out to Him to expose the lies we believe and the false belief systems that are rooted in our heart--may He displace in us everything not of Him with His Truth, and may we find the Rewarder of our faith as we diligently seek HIM in all these matters.
